How many images should I get?+
It depends on where you plan to use them. One strong headshot works well for a LinkedIn profile or email signature. Two to three gives you variety across platforms and looks so your presence feels fresh and consistent. If you are using headshots across a website, social media, and marketing materials, the four image option gives you a full library to pull from without feeling repetitive.
Is it important to have different variations of headshots?+
Yes. Different platforms call for different versions of you. LinkedIn wants polished and professional. Instagram wants personality and approachability. If you are active on multiple platforms, having a range of looks means you are never using the same image everywhere, which keeps your presence feeling fresh. Some people want something clean and corporate for one platform and something with a little more energy and punch for another. Having both gives you options so you are always showing up in a way that fits the room.
What should I wear?+
Wear what represents you and the clients you want to attract. Solid colors photograph better than busy patterns. Avoid logos. Think about the impression you want to make and dress one level above how you normally show up. I provide a style guide before your session and am happy to talk through your outfit choices so everything feels intentional and on brand.
What is the difference between headshots and Headshot Express?+
Headshot Express is a streamlined session designed for one look and one image, delivered fast. It is great if you need something quick and clean. The standard headshot session gives you more time, more outfit changes, and multiple backdrop options so you have real variety in what you walk away with. If you are not sure which fits your needs, book a discovery call and we will figure it out together.
How long does a headshot session take?+
Most sessions run between 45 minutes and an hour and a half depending on how many looks we are capturing. There is no rushing. The goal is to get images you are genuinely happy with, so I take the time needed to make that happen.
When will I receive my images?+
Your retouched images are delivered within 2 to 3 business days. Every image is individually edited before delivery so what arrives in your inbox is polished and ready to use. Need them faster? A rush fee is available for same day or within 24 hour delivery.
What if I am nervous in front of the camera?+
Most people are and it is never a problem. I keep the session relaxed and conversational. There is no pressure to pose perfectly. I will guide you through everything and by the time we find our rhythm, most people forget the camera is even there. That is when the best headshots happen.
